World of Warcraft High Damage Dealing Paladin Guide
World of Warcraft Guides - User Submitted Guide: Mageadin
I will then review it and if I think it lives up to the Totally Free World of Warcraft Guides standard I will list it here! Without further ado here is the first guide!
Mageadin (EPIX)
A Mageadin. You’re probably wondering what a “Mageadin” is. A Mageadin is a Paladin with +DMG armor on. You might think this is very stupid but you are wrong. A Mageadin can produce a whoop-load of DPS. In this guide im going to show you the BEST gear (epics) that I could find for a MAGEADIN.
First thing…the armor. For the 8 main slots of armor the best armor/set I could find was the Judgment Armor. I picked out the Judgment Armor because its plate, you can get it easier, and it has +damage and +healing. Yes it may be a little hard to find a guild that can do BWL but I thought the same also for my druid and but I found one pretty easy. There are some enchants that you should get for your armor but I will go over that later. Second thing is the the other 6 armor spots. First I chose 2 epic trinkets that may be difficult to obtain: Hibernation Crystal and Neltharions Tear. |
I picked both of these for extra +damage and when you judge SoC you can get rockin' damage with HC.
Now the rings. These rings are quite simple to get just do MC with your guild/group. Several rings have dropped in 3 months of MC runs. The ring is Ring of Spell Power. You will want 2 of these rings.
The neck wasn’t that hard to choose, Choker of the Fire Lord which gives pretty good +damage.
Now if your guild is real good and can kill C’Thun then Cloak of the Devoured is a very good cloak(for mageadins).
Ok last thing on the equipment is the Weapon, and off hand… no I didn’t choose a shield. Lok'amir il Romathis is the weapon. This will be one of the hardest if not the hardest weapons to get. It drops off of Nefarian not to mention its not the highest drop rate. Ok, now the off-hand… you can debate, bite, fight me about this but I found the best +damage off hand was Therazane's Touch. Which is the Arathi Valley reputation award for Exalted L but you will like the +damage better than stats and armor since you have plate on already.
Ok now enchantments get +intellect on everything but Chest and Main-Hand. On the main hand get +30 damage and on chest get +4 stats on it. Use the librams for the +8 intellect on legs. Also get the ZG enchants that give +damage on shoulders and on head if there is one for head if not then do the +8 intellect.
The next part is optional / temporary stuff that will increase damage but is not necessary:
Brilliant wizard oil: This will up damage and increase critical hits.
Flask of Supreme Power: This will significantly increase power but it’s a little expensive.
Ok now for the talents build. I think the best build for this is a retribution holy build. Here is a build that I made that I find to be one of the best:
Holy Tree
Divine Strength: 5
Divine Intellect: 5
Healing Light: 3
Consecration: 1
Improved Lay On Hands: 2
Retribution Tree
Improved Blessing Of Might: 5
Benediction: 5
Improved Judgement: 2
Improved Seal Of The Crusader: 3
Deflection: 5
Conviction: 5
Seal Of Command: 1
Eye For An Eye: 2
Sanctity Aura: 1
Vengeance: 5
Repentance: 1
